Economic indicators like Job Rates tend to have a time lag. Recent jobless rates have been cause for celebration as 2012 emerges.
Baltic Dry Index and Harper Container Shipping Index work a forward lag. Shipping was highly saturated in 2007 just before 2008 correction.
